The BispoGO - Landscape Museum app is a free digital experience that allows users to visit, explore and experience the natural and cultural landscapes of the municipality of Vila do Bispo.
This app goes beyond being a useful and engaging tourist guide, positioning itself as a unique initiative for heritage education and awareness. It provides users with a range of information that promotes best practice and safety during visits, as well as a more sustainable enjoyment of the natural and cultural resources available in the landscapes of Vila do Bispo.
It proposes 6 themed routes, including a guided tour of the Museum of Vila do Bispo - Barn of History, or the option to create customised routes, based on 72 points of interest covering themes as rich and diverse as flora and fauna, geomonuments, dinosaur footprints, megalithic monuments, Roman villas, fortresses, temples, beaches, natural landscapes and local identity. It offers augmented reality and 3D experiences, image and video content, audio-guided tours and an interactive game. At each point, the users are invited to answer a question. If they answer correctly, they win an item related to the area. These items and their associated facts can be collected, helping to better understand our ‘Landscape Museum’.
Once you’ve downloaded the BispoGO - Landscape Museum app onto your smartphone or tablet, available from the Play Store (Google) and App Store (Apple) for Android and iOS, it will work offline, requiring only a GPS connection. You’ll then be ready to explore the incredible Vila do Bispo Landscape Museum!
